Use LED Christmas Lights: LED lights can use at least 75% electricity than regular bulbs.
Smart Plugs & Lights: Having smart plugs timed to go on and off at certain times can reduce the hassle of turning off lights, and save money on leaving them on.
Lower the Thermostat: When there are guests round over the holidays, lots of lights on, and maybe a roaring fire, you can afford to reduce the temperature of the thermostat.
Cook Carefully: With lots of cooking done over the holidays, turn off the oven five minutes early to use less energy, and don’t put hot leftovers directly into the fridge.
